Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY)-
a) It was Launched on April 8, 2015 by the Prime minister Narendra Modi.
b) The Key objective of the scheme is to provide Financial Support for the Growth of Micro Enterprises sector and various start-ups of this level.
c) Under this scheme, the funding to non- corporate small business sector is facilitated .
d) MUDRA stands for Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency. The scheme is open and available from all bank branches across the country.
The Scheme is further divided into three sub – schemes :
- Shishu : This Scheme will be covering availing loans to entrepreneurs upto Rs. 50000. Shishu Stands for young child. Therefore, entrepreneurs with small businesses and Start-ups can avail loans under this scheme.
- Kishor : This scheme covers loans above Rs 50000 and upto Rs.5 Lakh. The Scheme is for Medium Enterprises.
- Tarun : This Scheme covers loans above Rs 5 Lakh and upto Rs 10 lakh.

a) The scheme was Launched on May 9, 2015 by honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
b) The Key Objective of the scheme is to provide Life insurance cover to all Indian Citizens.
